So while I was away on a Vegas trip last weekend, a major protest with half a million strong demonstrated their anger over the new tougher law on illegal immigration in downtown LA. The issue of illegal immigrants has been around for years in this country, particular in border line states north of Mexico, and sadly, the majority of ones against illegal immigrants are just bunch of closed minded morons.

Many of their reasons include the strain these illegal immigrants are putting on our welfare system, but the biggest reason, and the most flawed one, happens to be that illegal immigrants are taking away jobs for the "hard working" Americans. But how many supposedly hard working Americans are willing to cut grass in your backyard, baby sit your kids, and pick fruits/vegetables in the hot summer days. The answer is no. The poor Americans are poor for a fucking reason, it is because they are too damn lazy and they expect better shit without willing to put forth the effort. What the law makers fail to understand is that the force of market economy will continue to drive the demand for illegal immigrants. Supply and demand, like law of nature, will always prevail if you want to sustain a competitive economy. There are demands for cheap, back breaking labors that lazy ass poor Americans just dont fucking want to do. Of course, there are plenty of middle and possibly upper middle class Americans who are also against illegal immigrants working in the state, but they are just bunch of hypocrites. How many people take their car to a car wash once a week/month? how many would be willing to pay double so that they can hire legal workers? Not many I can tell you that. How many people are willing to pay EVEN MORE for a house in LA just so that contractors can hire legal workers to build the houses? None!

This leads to another closely related issue in this country and that is the trend of big companies outsourcing jobs to developing countries such as India and China. I watched Michael Moore going up to big business and asking them why they outsource jobs to other countries and not keeping the jobs here, and sure, it all sounds great to keep all the jobs in the state, but if you have half a brain and can look at a bigger picture, you would know that big business HAVE TO outsource jobs to stay competitive. What if GE or GM took the advice and kept all the factories in the US? Well let me paint you a fucking picture for the morons out there against outsourcing. The cost of their services/products will go up and eventually be passed down to the consumers. The consumers in this country will simply look else where for other international companies with a better edge. Just look at the big three auto makers in the US, they are struggling to keep up with the Japanese and European auto makers because of the health care/pension plan they have to pay for the American factory workers...and guess what is happening to them now? They are forced to lay people off. The consequence of not trying to be competitive is huge. If a big business fail, not only will the factory in the state close, soon, their corp. offices throughout the country will have to close...and what about the millions of investors/share holders who expect the executives of these companies to drive the profit up? Can we really blame big business? I am not willing to make a sacrifice to keep a few thousand factory jobs in the state to screw the other thousands of corp. office workers and million of investors in the state. The world is changing, and if you too damn stupid to realize you need a college degree to keep up, then dont come and cry for help. Just admit you fucked up and you either get your ass back in college or fucking stay on the damn street and ponder why you too damn stupid.

-one of the top 2006 new year resolution is to lose weight...but on average, most people give up in less than a month

-the typical yearly salary raise is somewhere between 2 to 3 % ...i got a raise around 17%...how you might ask...cuz I work for myself suckers!!!!

-best line i heard so far about breast implants this year: "it is like giving a middle finger to gravity"....muwahahaha...that is too funny

-some of the best shows on television arent your major networks or HBO, but the "Food Network"!!!...yeah you heard me...Iron Chef and Iron Chef America are exciting, Rachel Ray's 40.00 A Day, Everyday Italian...and of course..Receipe for Sucess...addicting stuff man...you know Rachel Ray's how is so popular..they even made a drink game out of her...you take a shot whenever she makes a stupid ass comment like...mmm..oh my...this food taste out of this world...just heavenly...

-Brad Pitt recently accompany Angelina Jolie to some country to meet with its prime minister....a photo was taken when Brad and Angelina sat in the palace with the prime minister...a beautiful photo except Brad had his ugly ass boot on the freaking table...geez.. Mr. Hollywood..learn some manner first

damn, finally got my xanga site back to norm...i dunno what went wrong..the backdrop I got worked for like a few days and it just went haywire...anyways...nothing really new going on except work and school...school and work...and oh yeah..more work.

well at least i am done with school..for now, but forgot to mention, i also got training as I will be working as a p/t seasonal tax professional at HR Block....sounds like fun..but not really. So yeah man, i hate to say this, but when did people get so naive all of a sudden..i dont even know if the the word naive fits...it's like those people who give you an answer that doesnt answer the question..i guess that's the feeling i get from a lot of foos i been meeting. i mean here at hr block, this isnt some high end tax service, it's no different than a Wamu bank, you come in, cash your check, deposit your check and you get the fuck out....and here i got classmates telling me i need to give my clients advice for the future on education/home and all that other bullshit...geez, you swear people with real money go to hr block..not to diss the hardworking americans but com'on man...if i am only getting like 20% per return...i aint going to take my sweet ass time giving them advice..you want advice...wait till you have some money first...

so i figured, despite the crappy pay at block, with my speed, i can probably bang out 2.5 returns per hr...which will get me roughly around 40 to 50/hr...not too bad esp if all i gotta do is sit there and prepare bunch of simple returns... anyways..these people just need to get realistic.....a dude coming into block with a w2 making 35k a year with 2 kids aint got time to worry about starting an education saving plan, or open a saving account to buy a home..they barely getting by man......alrite..i am out..late

New Rule:

    The theory of the puritans of the 21st century seems to be: The less kids know about sex, the better. Because people who talk about pee-pees are potty mouths. And so armed with limited knowledge and believing regular vaginal intercourse to be either immaculate or filthy dirty, these kids did with their pledge what everybody does with contracts: They found loopholes- two of them, to be exact.
    Is there any greater irony than the fact that the Christian Right actually got their precious little adolescent daughters to say to their freshly scrubbed boyfriends: "please, I want to remain pure for my wedding night, so only in the ass, Then I will blow you." Well, at least these kids are really thinking outside the box.

I don't care that your phone takes pictures. It's a phone, not a Swiss Army knife. Great, now that the annoying camera buff and the annoying cell phone prick can merge as one guy. Hey, if you can figure out how to make that "camera phone" play country-western music real loud, we could call it "a perfect storm of assholes."

Think my road rage is finally catching up to me, i swear these past few weeks i had 3 people stick their heads out of their car windows to cuss at me, and gotten so many middle fingers, i am not even gonna bother to count. this one dude got mad at me cuz i "supposely" cut him off at a freeway exit, so he pulled up next to me after we got off and was like..yo, u think you own the fucking freeway or something u jerk?, i looked at him with disbelief and i was like...where u from bro, this is fucking LA, stop being a cry baby, i get cut off on the freeway every hour, chill the fuck out.

then a few days later, me and this dude both came to our stop sign and instead of waiting for someone to make a move, i just floored it and the guy in the porsche honked at me and gave me a middle finger...i was like..man, u not even ghetto and u try to pull some gangsta shit at me, i put in reverse and backed up hella fast and starting honking at him and gave him my signature two middle fingers out the window, and the fucking dude just takes off...what a pussy. Advice to all rich mofo in LA, if u rich, quit acting like u a tough guy.

now today, it was raining just a little bit in LA and this old back dude was driving 5 mph with no car in sight in front of him, i was like...geez, so i gave him a gentle honk and he sticks his head out and tells me to shut the fuck up...sure, i will shut the fuck up, i wasnt talking to begin with, so i just honk the mother out of my car at him and then when i cut across from him, i slowed down and said...u shut the fuck up, go take a fucking bus u loser, and of course, my signature move, no hands on the steering wheel and two middle fingers out the window.

so yeah, i think i am gonna start carrying a bag of golf balls in my car so next time someone who comes at me, i am just gonna fucking throw a golf ball at their car, nah just kidding, but damn, that would be funny, imagine some dude driving away, and i smash his back window with a golf ball...oh well, i will wait for that day when i have two big dudes serving as my entourage.

what makes one man work 10 times as hard as his next fellow man? what makes someone unhappy with making 60-70k while his next fellow man is pleased at seeing a 500.00 weekly pay stub? what is it that determines people's motivation and definition of success? We all heard of the quote. "money is the root of all evil"...but maybe "the lack of money is the root of all evil"....but why is money such a driving force when you can live a decent life making 50k a year? why is 50k enough for some, and not for others?

it comes down to access, money grants you access to things an average joe cant get. i am not talking about material goods...but access to something mystical, an idea, or even merely a belief that you are above the rest...that you are granted access to an elite club, where you no longer just another guy on the street...but you have distanced yourself from that middle of the pack bell curve....and got admitted into a club, which i shall refer to as "distinction", for people who know the difference of not only good vs bad, but what is fucking incredible. it's about playing with the big boys...it's about hearing conversations that deals with millions, not thousands, it's about power, respect, and the luxury, beauty, and taste of life that most of us only read about....it is no longer enough to be rich and old, but to be rich while you are young and alive...

so i had to wake up at 7 AM this morning due to my massive "to-do" list of errands and all these driving/running around have made me extremely cranking. so, once again, it is another entry of jimmy's bitching and ranting at this insane world we live in.

first topic to pick on, "home schooling"....what the f* is this crap about. recent study have shown home schooling is on the rise and is becoming an increasingly popular alternative...alternative to what man? home schooling in my opinion should be placed on the top of the "cruel and unusual punishment" list towards kids. any parents who want to home school their kids need to seriously get their heads examined. humans need interaction among their own peers, kids need to be running around with kids, get clowned on, pick a fight, joke around. as if they dont already spend enough time at home with the parents, now they gotta spend every waking moment around you. and those who talk about protecting the youth from the corruption of society....give me a f* break man. kids need to get banged up a little so they can stand up for themselves when they get older, how long are you going to protect them? until they off to college having developed limited social skills among their peers, lacking the ability to withstand peer pressure since they didnt have deal with it on a day to day baiss and get f* all over again, except now instead of skipping class, they be shooting up crack man. so yes, home schooling should be banned, dont make your kids a goddamn loser/werido to the rest of the society.

second topic that i want to bitch at is the new push to teach "intelligent design" in our public school..for those of you who dont watch CNN or read the Times, let me explain what the hell intelligent design is. It is basically a new "word" thought up by the supporter of creationism (the world is created by God in 7 days...umm haha, ok, and earth is flat and the sun orbit around the earth..good one) to try to once again push their religious belief and agenda into our public school. Such a talk has been shot down in the past due to the idea of separate church and state, but with the new term "intelligent design", they now avoided the pitfalls of using the word God, but rather to term it with an intelligent "designer" who created life on our planet. Listen man, i really dont care if people wnat to believe God created life and Darwin is a clown, heck, the more stupid people there are, the smarter it makes me. But the problem i do have is that with the new term "intelligent design", they have turned their religious ideaology into something that sounds like real f* science when there is ZERO scientific evidence to back it up. Geez...it's a sad day to see America stepping a giant step backwards, and of course, our beloved president can only respond with "i think children should be exposed to both school of thoughts..."... when did religious belief become a school of thoughts...give me a break.

Alright, enough bitching for one day...

I recently took a seminar course with a client of mine on how to better use my time and become a more efficient worker:

1) Stop using f*cking AIM during business hour

2) Work less hours so I have to do everything FASTER!

3) Go to bed by midnight the latest

4) Stop writting this stupid xanga cuz it is wasting time!

Update:

By next week I shall know if I will be moving to a new apartment/condo in Culver City. Havent lived with my parents since I came to UCLA, it will be an adjustment to know I cant walk around my apartment completely naked. Even though my parents are still gonna make me chip in for part of the rent, I should save plenty of money on food.

Will start school August 29th..... *sigh..............once again Borders will be my second home.
